A 36o degree panoramic projection of a time lapse from “The Monument Project” (2009-2011) was presented at the 23rd Internationale Panoramakonferenz in Altötting, Germany, Sept 2014. Music by Chris Bush and post-production by Stuart Moore.
I have just completed the new installation version of Returning (2002) which will be exhibited in my solo show at the Minories Gallery in Colchester from Nov 7th, 2014- Jan 3rd, 2015. The Preview will be Nov 7th, 2014, 6-9PM.

An image of the test structure for the gallery version of In Darwin’s Garden, an augmented reality installation I have been developing in collaboration with Dr Alan Summers. Gallery visitors will be able to experience a composite view of time lapse video and photographic images of the venerable mulberry tree at Down House, the home of Charles Darwin and his family. The tree, which was already of considerable age when the Darwins were in residence, is in its final stages, although currently still alive. This work, which has an on-line version at http://www.darwinsgarden.org.uk, is due to be presented at ISEA (International Symposium of Electronic Art) in Dubai, Oct-Nov 2014.

A new version of my solar-powered sound installation, Aeolian Processes II will be presented in “La Lune: Energy Producing Art” an outdoor exhibition of renewable energy artworks along the Long Reef headland on the coast of New South Wales near Sydney, Australia from May 10th-18th. The exhibition, curated by Allan Giddy, director of the Environmental Research Initiative for Art at the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales, will include outdoor works by a number of Australian and international artists working with renewable energy technologies.

In anticipation of Eyebeam’s upcoming collaboration with Moving Image Fair, New York, March 6th – 9th, Eyebeam presents a book launch and panel with author and artist Chris Meigh-Andrews. The event outlines the approach and concerns of his book “A History of Video Art” (Bloomsbury, 2013). He will be joined by a panel of distinguished video artists, writers and curators from the USA and the UK who will discuss their own attitudes to the development of the medium and how it has influenced and impacted their approach and ideas including Peter Campus, Beryl Korot, Terry Flaxton, Lori Zippay,and Mary Lucier.
