The Digital Aesthetic (2001)
The Digital Aesthetic was a multi-site exhibition and symposium curated by Chris Meigh-Andrews and James Green at the Harris Museum, Preston in 2001. Participating artists and academics included Steina & Woody Vasulka (Iceland/CZ, USA) , Malcolm le Grice (UK) Sean Cubitt (NZ), Daniel Reeves (USA/UK), Jane Prophet (UK), Graham Ellard/Stephen Johnson (UK), Catherine Elwes (UK), David Bickerstaff / Chris Wainwright (UK), David Garcia (NL), Susan Collins (UK) and Simon Biggs (UK/Aus).
The Digital Aesthetic was the first of a series of events with the overall title of The Digital Aesthetic Project. Digital Aesthetic 2 took place in 2007, followed by Digital Aesthetic 3 in 2012.
