Writer in Residence at Wallace Stegner House, Aug-Sept 2024

I am currently on a month-long residency at Wallace Stegner House in Eastend, Saskatchewan. I am here to trace my grandfather’s 5 year sojourn in Western Canada. He arrived in Eastend, age 26 in Sept 1922 intending to begin a new life farming on the Canadian prairies.
